Jim Carrey does CSI Miami

I must confess that Ace Ventura 2 sits on my DVD shelf and I am proud of it. I am equally proud of my impersonation of David Caruso from CSI Miami. However, I must bow down to a greater impersonator.

ESPN.com: Browns WR Edwards makes scholarship pledge It is not everyday you see someone take an interest in the Cleveland City Schools. Braylon Edwards, a wide receiver for the Browns, if offering $1 million in college scholarships to 100 eight-graders who keep at least at 2.5, do 15 yearly hours of community service, and do not have any unexcused absences. DRM Free? Really?

Apple and EMI ditching DRM is good, but it's not good enough - Engadget In case you are not hip to the slang, DRM stands for digital rights management. It is a software format that limits the abilities of songs downloaded from internet audio providers (iTunes Music Store) to be copied. For years, this has seemed counterintuitive, because CD's can still be bought and copied just as easy as a file downloaded from iTunes, so why protect what is being downloaded from the internet when you don't protect what people buy off the shelf? It just doesn't make sense and proves that record labels are coming to grips with the fact that times have changed, and CD's will eventually die out for mainstream music. Especially Pop music.

This is a test to see if I really will blog regularly.

If you choose to keep up with this blog, you will likely read posts that bore you and do not relate to anything of your particular interests whatsoever. This will likely be due to the fact that I have way too many little interests and am constantly picking up new fascinations that are completely random and unrelated. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to try to keep interested in spite of the posts that will seem to come out of left-field.
