Red Point Values

The Sacred Scriptures
Immersing our lives in the sacred scriptures is the best way to hear the voice of God. As we teach and interact with the whole council of God, we seek to stand in greater awe of God’s revealed Word. Scripture is more than something we believe in, it is the very nourishment for our lives requiring constant intake.

Engaging Culture
Culture is met, engaged, transformed, and embraced through the power of Christ. We hold a worldview that does not see culture as sacred or secular, but redeemed or in need of redemption.

Authentic Community
We want to recapture the biblical vision of authentic spiritual community. We believe Christianity is a group project, not an independent study. We encourage bold love and practical service to help people on their journey.

Creating Disciples
The Great Commission sees disciples as the goal of the proclamation of the Gospel. We believe that creating disciples should be the goal of every church plant.

Empowerment
When the need for churches is so great, the need for reproducibility is great as well. In order to compete with the ever growing population, it is important for churches to remain simple enough that people can reproduce them with minimal training. We aim to create a culture where disciples are empowered to complete the church’s mission. Examples of this value can be seen in evangelistic methods, discipleship training, and ecclesiology.

Servanthood
We are the voice for the helpless as we understand that God’s Word says: “pure religion is to care for the widow and the orphan.” As an urban church in the Greater Cleveland area, it is important to recognize the church's call to people with material needs as well as spiritual needs.

Incarnational Ministry
Our main mode of outreach is meant to reflect the incarnation of Christ. Rather than holding events that are a church's version of an existing event, we strive to penetrate the culture and incarnate ourselves into existing cultural structures. Examples of this value can be seen in bi-vocational staff, volunteering in mentoring and tutoring, and supporting events in the local community.
